No pizza oven? No problem – use this traditional round pizza stone instead. With its even heat distribution and moisture-absorbing qualities, you’re guaranteed a light and crispy crust every time.
For the most professional results, place the pizza stone in a cold oven and then turn it on to heat up the oven and stone together for 20 to 40 minutes. Whilst the oven is heating up, prepare your pizza. Remove the stone from the oven, sprinkle with semolina and spread with a brush or spatula. Slide your pizza onto the stone and place back into the oven until cooked. When cooked, leave your stone to cool and wipe with a clean, damp brush without detergent.
